Cynthia commissioned this painting of the house her grandmother, Isabelle, designed and built during the time her husband was on military service while she raised their three children. The portal window has significance as Isabelle insisted on having this distinctive feature. Cynthia’s mother recalls wonderful memories of growing up in the house due to sadly losing her mother a few years later. The painting has become a cherished gift for her mother.

“You might remember a few weeks ago I posted about @robyngofish’s exhibition in the Ballarat Art Space. I wanted to buy one of the pieces but it was pretty much sold out….so Sam commissioned one of the pieces for my birthday.
This is how it turned out. The window we did for Sam’s pa is even included with my favourite bird ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
